Meet Friends and Neighbors – Old and New – at Broomfield Days!

Broomfield Days is our City’s annual hometown festival. Held for decades, the one-day event is
held the third weekend in September each year. This September, a myriad of activities await
including a parade, trade fair, car show, kids’ activities, a clown contest, rides, games, food,
music, entertainment, pet activities, a 5K run, bingo, a golf tournament, pancake breakfast, and

Broomfield Days activities.

Pancakes Anyone?

Start the day at the Annual Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at the Girl Scout Shelter at Midway
Park. Breakfast starts at 7:00 a.m. Fill up with a hearty breakfast to start the day of fun. Proceeds
benefit Lions Club programs throughout the community.

2019 Broomfield Days Mayor's Cup Road Race

The Broomfield Days Mayor's Cup Road Race is on Saturday and begins on Midway Boulevard
near the Fire Station, and follows scenic Broomfield streets and bike paths. For full details and to

BowWow Broomfield and Dock Dogs

Broomfield Days is for the dogs too! The day will be full of furry fun with pet-related vendors,
races and other furry-friendly activities. If you’re interested in making a splash, enter your dog in
the Dock Dogs Contest which is two days of wet competition for your pup! For more

Clown Contest

Meet at the main stage for the Kid's Clown Contest at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning
Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. next to the Main Stage. Children should come dressed and ready
with an adult guardian to sign for their participation.

Broomfield Days Community Parade

The Broomfield Community Parade begins at 9:30 a.m. at Main and Midway Boulevard, and will
arrive at Midway Park at 10 a.m. The parade usually has between 65-70 entries each year. Don’t
forget to bring a bag to collect candy and other giveaways and goodies! The parade is announced annually by Boomfield’s own, Paul Derda! The Parade Marshals for 2019 are Jim and Jan Sparks.
