A Precious Child’s Fairytale Ball Raises More Than $520,000 for Colorado Children in Need

A Precious Child, a local nonprofit providing children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential, hosted its 11th annual gala on Saturday, April 13th at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield.
More than 650 community members, corporate and foundation sponsors, individual donors and volunteers came ready to celebrate atthis year’s Fairytale Ball. The evening began with a VIP Reception hosted by RBC Wealth Management. The seated dinner program was emceed by Kylie Bearse, Meteorologist for 9NEWS and a Celebrity Ambassador for A Precious Child. A moving program included a testimonial from one of A Precious Child’s clients and comments from Gregg Moss, President of the Metro North Chamber of Commerce and a member of A Precious Child’s Board of Advisors.
This year’s successful live auction, led by charity auctioneer Rick Rolph, boasted several once-in-a-lifetime items, including a diamond ring from Thollot Diamonds and Fine Jewelry and lunch with A Precious Child Celebrity Ambassador Philipp Grubauer of the Colorado Avalanche. “What an incredible event!” said Carina Martin, CEO and Founder of A Precious Child. “We raised more than $520,000 which will go to support our mission and allow A Precious Child to continue empowering children to succeed. Thank you to the community for coming together to ensure that Colorado children in need can have the opportunities and resources they need to thrive.”
