A Precious Child’s 10th Anniversary 'Bowl for A Precious Child' More Than Doubles Community Impact

Mar 18, 2019 09:56AM

A Precious Child, a local nonprofit providing children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential, hosted its 10th Annual Bowl for A Precious Child Tournament on March 10th. This collaborative event between the Broomfield Police Department and North Metro Fire Rescue District filled forty lanes at Brunswick Zone Westminster Lanes and was a spirited and fun-filled day to remember. A Precious Child more than doubled its impact this year raising more than $19,000 to provide basic essentials for Colorado children in need.

Philipp Grubauer and Gabe Landeskog of the Colorado Avalanche attended the event along with Isobel Kuchinsky and Melissa Landeskog, both members of A Precious Child’s Women’s Guild Executive Board.

“The event was a great success,” said Carina Martin, A Precious Child’sCEO and Founder. “Moving to Brunswick Zone this year allowed us to more than double the number of teams we could host, which helped us raise more necessary funds for our impactful programs that serve disadvantaged and displaced children in our community. We are thankful for our ongoing partnerships with the fire and police departments in the Broomfield area and we were thrilled with how many bowlers participated in this year’s event.”

This event would not be made possible without the generous support of the following sponsors: Presenting Sponsor: B&B Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.; Gold Sponsors: Broomfield Police Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District; Silver Sponsors: Dodge Sign Company, Fleischmann Family Dentistry, Hunter Douglas, Pallones Sell Homes; Bronze Sponsors: ABCO Contracting, Balloons Elite, Heidi Howard Photography, Koru Chiropractic Corrective Care, United Power.
